Description

Side-folding safety barrier DOCK ANGEL for loading docks / for loading dock safety.

The folding safety barrier DOCK ANGEL is primarily used to prevent people or forklifts from falling off the dock during loading, thus avoiding serious accidents. However, due to its fully standardized construction, this product can also be used for other applications.

Safety barrier DOCK ANGEL with gas spring, handrail, knee and foot rail. Robust construction for industrial use. Excellent design and high manufacturing quality. Stainless steel pivot points with maintenance-free igus® plain bearings. Double-folded foot rail - highly stable and without risk of injury - suitable for work environments without mandatory safety shoes. Innovative locking mechanism with double function (from a width of 2,000 mm with intermediate joint). Handles with a diameter of 27 mm, comfortable to grip. Steel profile material thickness: 4 mm. Eyelets for a padlock allow the barrier to be locked in the closed position. Optional on request: safety switch with guard locking, manufactured by EUCHNER (CET series). Made in Germany (Southwest Baden-Württemberg). Recommended by BGHW (German Social Accident Insurance Institution for Trade and Logistics) as a product for loading dock safety - BGHW was involved in the product development. Tested by TÜV SÜD Product Service GmbH (production monitored, safety tested).

Product DOCK ANGEL with nameplate and serial number, CE and TÜV marks. Spare parts are available for a minimum period of 10 years, even in the event of subsequent modifications to the DOCK ANGEL product by the manufacturer.

Material: High-quality steel. Stainless steel version 304L available upon request.

Surface treatment: Hot-dip galvanized and/or powder-coated. The hot-dip galvanized coating can last up to 50 years in rural areas and up to 25 years in more corrosive environments such as coastal regions.

Color: Traffic yellow RAL 1023 or any other RAL color for powder coating, or gray (hot-dip galvanized).

Optional warning light DOCK ANGEL SignalLight 2.0: Bright red LED light with contactless limit switch, blinking when open (360° visibility). Protection class IP68 (dustproof and waterproof). Operating voltage 220-230 V. Supplied with 5 m power cable without plug - professional electrical connection required on site.
Fully integrated into the receiving post, pre-assembled and retrofittable at any time. The DOCK ANGEL SignalLight 2.0 is made in Switzerland.
